Why I'm Running
I retired from my business career in 2014 in order to give back via public service. This is the primary reason I ran in 2014 and why I am seeking re-election today. More specifically, I am a firm believer that education is the foundation for the reputation and success of North Carolina. Serving in the House has given me the opportunity to make sure education remains our top priority, is funded in a fiscally responsible manner and has the policy support to provide our students the education they will need to provide for their families and drive N.C. forward for years to come.
